Who We Are
We are a collective of scientists and researchers passionate about the application of the materials we developed in the course of our study. Towards the end of our studies we became determined to move our technology out of the lab and into the real world. To realise this we recruited the assistance of experienced industrial chemists, IP experts, and seasoned business executives.
Our team is uniquely poised to realise our dream of commericialising the inverse vulcanisation process and meeting our ultimate goal of solving the excess sulfur problem. We hope to achieve this by creating high value added materials from an industrial by-product.
Dr. Bowen Zhang, CEO
Bowen is one of the founding members of ThioTech Ltd and is responsible for the direction and operation of the company.
Dr. Thomas Hasell, Director/Technical Advisor
Tom is responsible for providing scientific guidance to the team to ensure that the key scientific challenges are addressed in a timely fashion.
Dr. Gareth Crapper, Non-Executive Director
Gareth is a former industrial R&D Director with extensive experience in the chemicals industry.
Dr. Andrew Spencer, Non-Executive Director
Andrew is the University of Liverpool nominated representative on the Thiotech Board. He provides support on legal and IP matters.
Dr. Samuel Petcher, Project Manager
Sam is responsible for project delivery within ThioTech.
